Veerle Dupont, in the manner of, a 1970’s textile wall
hanging tapestry / sculpture - This large and impressive
piece of textile art (the overall drop is 240cm) is hand dyed in
earth tones and uses different materials (including wool, sisal and
glass beads) along with various weaving techniques.
As with several works by Veerle Dupont this piece has “roots” that
twist and intermingle eventually running onto the ground thus
breaking away from the flat two dimensional wall hanging.
