Pierre Le Faguays - An Art Deco bronze sculpture "Nude with
Flowers", France circa 1925 - the young woman gazing at a
bouquet of flowers, mounted on a green marble base.
This is an uncommon and beautiful sculpture by Le Faguays with his
typical styling to the features and only the third example I have
seen for sale in the last fifteen years: We have owned two of them
with the third in a Bonhams auction.
Other examples of Faguay's work can be seen in the books Art Deco
and Other Figures by Bryan Catley and Art Deco Sculpture by Alastair
Duncan.
Bronze stamped Marcel Guillemard and numbered 23.

public at his first exhibition due to the originality he gave his
dancing subjects which were inspired by the statues of Tangara. He
